Global YO is our Seville pick because the Spain-wide numbers are strong: 23 of 25 travelers had it working, and our test gave it 8.0. It is the cheapest tested provider we track in Spain, and its app installs the eSIM with a few taps.

A German reviewer found it fine for data in Spain and Portugal, handy if your trip continues west. On the other side, a Spain-based user rarely saw 5G and often had 1 to 2 bars, and the newest review rated Spain only okay. Holafly holds Seville's only fully positive record, 1 of 1, and 60 of 67 across Spain. A British traveler whose own mobile data died in Seville set Holafly up quickly and walked the city on Google Maps. Its Spain page names Orange, Movistar, Vodafone and Yoigo (checked August 2026).

Nomad worked for 1 of 2 Seville travelers, and the failure was blunt: no data in Seville, Madrid, London, Rome or Amsterdam, so the reviewer lived on café Wi-Fi. Across Spain it did far better, 71 of 84.

Road-trippers are its best advocates. One Canadian had service for almost all of several thousand kilometres across southern Spain in a month, losing it only in remote spots. GoMoWorld has no Seville report, but a Moroccan traveler used it in Málaga for 3 days with no problems and liked the Android app. It worked for 18 of 22 travelers across Spain and scored 8.2 in our test, with a 10 for speed.

Saily sells 1 GB for 7 days at $3.99 (as of August 2026), enough for a Seville weekend with hotel Wi-Fi. It scored 8.5 in our test, with 9 for the app and 10 for support, and you get 180 days to activate after buying.

One GigSky traveler lost data on the Madrid to Barcelona train but had no trouble between Madrid and Seville. GigSky worked for 26 of 33 travelers across Spain and scored 7.2 in our test, with 9 for support.

Airalo has no Seville report, and its Spain record is the weakest we track: 21 of 51. Its Spanish networks are unclear, and one hands-on retest says it gives only 4G in Spain, which we could not confirm.

Other Tested and Untested eSIMs for Seville

Jetpac (6.7, 14 of 16 in Spain) suits a rural Andalusia trip: one Canadian praised coverage between cities and said free Google Maps kept his data use down. eSIM4Travel scored 8.8 but has a single failed Spain report, too few to judge. ByteSIM (5.3) does not appear in our Spain reports.

Providers we have not tested yet stay unranked. Maya Mobile worked for 127 of 131 Spain travelers, though one found Seville and Barcelona poor, and another praised it in Andalusia and Portugal. How Madrid's 32 Reports Help Seville Travelers

Many Seville trips start in Madrid, which has the richest data: Nomad 9 of 10, Holafly 6 of 7 and Airalo 0 of 5. If you already trust one of those in Madrid, the same plan carries on to Seville.

Mobile Networks and 5G in Seville

Spain has four network owners: Movistar, MasOrange, Vodafone España and Digi, with Orange and Yoigo sharing the MasOrange network. According to the EC 5G Observatory, MasOrange launched Spain's first 5G-Advanced network in Seville in May 2025. Opensignal's May 2026 report still put Movistar first for download speed nationwide, at 96.7 Mbps.

Outside the city, choice shrinks. The CNMC rural report found that only 15.4% of rural municipalities have three 5G networks, against 49.7% of urban ones. A travel eSIM tied to one network is betting on the city; Only Holafly, among these providers, lists Movistar, Orange and Vodafone.

Seville is compact, so maps, Alcázar and cathedral tickets, and photos make up most of your use. Reports in our data range from about 1 GB a day for a GoMoWorld user to about 2 GB a day for a Nomad user who ran Google Maps constantly.

Córdoba, Cádiz, Jerez, Carmona and Granada all stay inside Spain. The risk is the countryside in between: reviewers describe dropouts in remote parts of southern Spain on Nomad and GigSky. Download maps before you drive, and keep a second network option if your eSIM has one.
