Holafly is an Irish eSIM provider built around unlimited data: trip eSIMs priced by the day for one destination, plus a free 1 GB monthly backup after the plan ends. Its weak point is speed: our test ran at about 30 Mbps on a 5G network capable of far more.

When the clock starts
- The plan starts when the eSIM first connects to a partner network at the destination with data roaming on. A 1-day plan that connects at 10 AM runs until 10 AM the next day.
Plan lengths
- 1 to 90 days, with the exact number of days chosen at checkout. Price tables show 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 30 days; each continuous stay in one destination is capped at 90 days.
Calls & SMS
- Trip eSIMs are data-only, with no number. The Plans Unlimited subscription includes a virtual +1 or +44 number that receives SMS only, delivered to the app or by email.
Support
- Live chat in the app and on the website (bot first, then a human), WhatsApp and email. No phone line. The chat language list had no Czech or Polish in our test.
Pros and cons
Holafly eSIM in our hands
This Holafly review is based on an eSIM we bought with our own money and installed on our own Android phone. We ran it through the same five checks we give every provider: purchase, app, installation, support and speed.
On top of the hands-on test we add three data sets. Our price file matches Holafly like for like against 13 other providers. Our customer-feedback analysis covers 8,000 recent Trustpilot reviews. And 2,406 traveler reports tell us whether Holafly worked in a given country.
Holafly's pitch is simple: unlimited data in one destination, priced by the number of days, with no counter to watch. The catch sits in the fair-use small print, and it showed up in our speed test. Below: how to buy, how to install, how to get help, what it costs against rivals, and where travelers say it works.

Holafly purchase process
Purchase process
Google Pay only filled in the billing address, our card was saved without a clear opt-in, and a WhatsApp message followed the order.
Verdict: buying works and takes a few minutes, but the checkout is oddly roundabout, saves your card without a clear opt-in and follows up on WhatsApp.
How to buy a Holafly eSIM in five steps
- Pick a destination on the Holafly website or in the app. There are single-country, regional and global eSIMs, and each destination needs its own checkout [7].
- Choose the number of days. Plans run from 1 to 90 days, and the price tables on destination pages show 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 30 days [8].
- Enter your details. You give an email, a phone number and a billing address. The email becomes your login for the app later, so use one you can reach on the road.
- Pay. Destination pages show Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal as payment methods [8]. Prices include tax based on the postcode you enter, and any foreign-transaction fee comes from your bank, not from Holafly [1].
- Check your inbox. The confirmation and the installation details arrive by email. Holafly also sent a WhatsApp message to the number on our account immediately after we paid.
What we found at the Holafly checkout
- Google Pay only did half the job. We picked the prominent Google Pay button, but Holafly used it only for the billing address. We then had to type the card number by hand, which made the flow feel odd and longer than it needed to be.
- Our card was saved without asking. The confirmation page listed a saved credit card even though we had not knowingly agreed to store it. Holafly's terms allow a saved payment method only with your explicit consent, and you can update it in the account settings [1]. Look closely at the payment screen before you confirm.
- A WhatsApp message followed the order. Some people will like a fast message. We found it redundant, because the same information was in the email and on the confirmation page, and slightly intrusive.
- The currency is not stated clearly. Destination pages show price tables in US dollars next to a purchase widget in euros, and the page does not say which one is charged [8].
- Refunds are generous on paper. An unused eSIM bought from Holafly can be refunded for up to 6 months [4]; the conditions are in the terms section below.
Holafly mobile app
Mobile app
Opens as a shop; existing customers hunt for the login under Profile. One-tap eSIM install is the app's best feature.
Verdict: a sales app first and a customer app second. The login is buried under Profile, but once you are in, the eSIM installs with a single tap.
The app is listed as "Holafly eSIM: Unlimited Data" on the App Store and as com.holafly.holafly on Google Play. On our Android phone it was a 47 MB download, large for an app whose main job is to show your plan and install an eSIM.
Holafly app review: shop first, account second
- The store listing did not reassure us. When we tested, Google Play showed 3.6 stars from about 6,000 reviews despite 1,000,000 downloads. The listing has since risen to 4.7 from 77.8k ratings as of October 2026, in line with 4.8 on the App Store.
- It opens as a shop. The first screen shows data plans for sale, with no prompt to log in.
- Existing customers have to hunt for the login. It sits in the Profile section, below a scroll. That is an easy place to miss if you bought on the website and only want to install.
- Login is passwordless. You enter the email from your purchase and confirm the verification email Holafly sends.
- Installation is the app's best feature. Tap Install and the phone's own eSIM wizard opens, with no QR code to scan (next section).
- The support chat lives inside the app, so you do not need a browser when something goes wrong.
How to log in to the Holafly app after buying online
- Open the app and skip past the plans on the first screen.
- Tap Profile and scroll down to the login option.
- Enter the email you used at checkout. The account is tied to that address.
- Confirm the login from the verification email Holafly sends.
Holafly eSIM installation
eSIM installation
Tap Install in the app, no QR code, and the eSIM connected to 5G straight away.
Verdict: the easiest part of the whole experience. One tap in the app, no QR code, and the phone was on 5G straight away.
Your phone needs to be carrier-unlocked and able to hold an eSIM [1]. If you are unsure, check our list of phones that take an eSIM. If this is your first eSIM, our first eSIM guide covers compatibility, buying and installing in five steps.
How to install a Holafly eSIM
- Install at home on Wi-Fi. Holafly recommends installing before you travel on a stable connection and activating at the destination; it says setup takes about 3 to 5 minutes [7].
- Pick your method. Holafly lists three [7]. One-tap install from the app works on iOS 17.4 and later and on Samsung. A QR code can be scanned only once. The third route is manual entry of the SM-DP+ address (the server address of the eSIM profile). Our guides cover the manual route on iPhone and on Samsung.
- Turn on data roaming for the Holafly line when you land. The plan starts when the eSIM first connects to a partner network, with data roaming on [7].
- Leave the eSIM installed. Holafly warns that a deleted eSIM cannot be reinstalled [7], and deleting it also ends the free Always On backup [1].
In our test we tapped Install in the app, the Android eSIM wizard launched, and the eSIM connected on a 5G signal with no extra setup. Nothing to scan, nothing to type. For a provider whose checkout and app both feel roundabout, this part is as simple as it gets.
Holafly eSIM not working? Try this first
- Check data roaming. It must be on for the Holafly line, and the Holafly line must be selected for mobile data.
- Do not delete and reinstall. The QR code works once and the profile cannot be put back [7]; an installed eSIM cannot be transferred to another phone either [8].
- Expect silence until you arrive. The plan only starts on the first connection at the destination, and the terms exclude use in your home country, the whole EU for EU residents [1].
- Still stuck? Open the in-app chat (next section), and for the generic checks see our eSIM troubleshooting guide.
Holafly customer support
Customer support
Chatbot questions first, then a quick handover to a helpful human. You can pick a language, but not Czech or Polish.
Verdict: a human was a few chatbot questions away and gave useful answers. The glamour-shot avatars and the missing Czech and Polish feel like a sales desk, not a tech desk.
How to contact Holafly support
- Live chat in the app and on the website, through the red pop-up in the corner [1]. This is what we used.
- WhatsApp on +1 661 384 8482 [1].
- Email at [email protected] [1].
- No phone line. Holafly publishes no voice number.
What Holafly support was like in our test
- Avatars before answers. The chat opens with photos of three helpdesk staff, and two of the three were the same person, likely a layout built for three slots. All were attractive young women, a choice that looks aimed at a friendly first impression but feels out of place for technical eSIM help.
- Pick your language, within limits. You can choose the language of the conversation, which is handy, but Czech and Polish are not on the list.
- Bot first, human fast. After a few simple questions from the chatbot we were handed to a real agent quickly, and the agent's answers were useful.
- Customers tell the same story. In the reviews we analyzed, fast replies and agents walking people through fixes are praised often. The AI bot repeating the same steps, and slow or partial refunds, are the common complaints.
For how Holafly's desk stacks up against the best in our tests, see our ranking of eSIM customer support.
Holafly speed test
Speed test
About 30 to 40 Mbps down and up on a 5G network that normally gives far more. Usable, but it looks throttled.
Verdict: about 30 to 40 Mbps both ways, steady through 6 GB in a day. A fraction of what the same 5G network gives a local SIM.
We run the speed test from our base, not at the destination, on the same Android phone every time. That makes the number a measure of the eSIM on a strong, uncrowded 5G network, not a prediction for a beach in Thailand. For Holafly the reference point was clear. With direct line of sight to the tower, a local Sunrise 5G SIM normally reaches around 700 Mbps at the same spot.
Holafly speed test results
| Measurement | Result |
|---|---|
| Network | 5G, connected right after installation |
| First download test | about 30 Mbps |
| First upload test | about 30 Mbps |
| After about 6 GB transferred in one day | 30 to 40 Mbps, no slowdown |
| Local Sunrise 5G SIM, same spot, line of sight to the tower | around 700 Mbps |
- It looks throttled from the start. 30 Mbps on a network that gives a local SIM around 700 Mbps points to a speed limit on the eSIM, not a weak signal.
- It is still usable. 30 Mbps is enough for streaming, maps and video calls. Our 4G vs 5G explainer shows what different speeds are enough for.
- No drop after 6 GB. We kept measuring through the day to catch a slowdown after a data threshold and saw none; the speed stayed at 30 to 40 Mbps.
Holafly fair use policy: how unlimited is unlimited?
"Unlimited" means no fixed allowance that stops your data. The terms, however, let the network's fair-use policy (a rule that lets an operator slow heavy users) restrict data or speed if your use is "excessive" [1]. Holafly's FAQ presents this as the operator's policy, not its own, and says any reduction lasts no more than one day before speed comes back [5]. Neither document gives a threshold in GB or a reduced speed.
- When we tested, Holafly's fair-use wording reserved the right to reduce speed after 4.5 GB a day, so results may differ by country. That figure no longer appears in the terms or the FAQ.
- Third-party figures are unconfirmed. A travel blog claims throttling after about 2 to 3 GB a day to 256 to 1024 kbps. It cites no source, and Holafly has published nothing to back it.
- Hotspot is capped. Trip eSIMs allow 1 GB of shared data per day, so 7 GB on a 7-day plan [8]. The FAQ says hotspot use is not unlimited "to protect network integrity" [5].
- Do you need unlimited at all? Our guide to how much data you need for travel helps you decide before you pay for a cap you may never hit.
Holafly prices: what unlimited data costs
Prices
One simple grid, easy to understand, but about 9% dearer than other unlimited eSIMs and the most expensive in half of our comparisons.
Verdict: one price grid you can memorize, but about 9% dearer than other unlimited eSIMs and almost never the cheapest.
Holafly sells unlimited data by the number of days, so there is no price per GB to compare. Our price file of 2 Oct 2026 holds 173 Holafly plans in 29 countries, all unlimited and 3 to 30 days long. Holafly's site lists many more destinations, so treat the 29 as the sample we could match against rivals. Within it, 22 countries share one price grid, and Holafly's own USA page shows the same numbers [8].
Holafly price list by number of days
The standard grid below is in US dollars, as Holafly's price tables show it. The 1-day price comes from the purchase widget, which shows euros [8]. The last column is the Global eSIM, which covers 142 countries by Holafly's count [9].
| Days | Standard single-country price | Per day | Global eSIM |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 day | €3.79 (purchase widget) [8] | €3.79 | €8.90 [9] |
| 3 days | $11.90 | $3.97 | $24.90 |
| 5 days | $20.50 | $4.10 | $36.90 |
| 7 days | $27.50 | $3.93 | $46.90 |
| 10 days | $36.50 | $3.65 | $66.50 |
| 15 days | $50.50 | $3.37 | $96.90 |
| 30 days | $73.90 | $2.46 | $161.50 |
- Longer is cheaper per day. Each step up costs $8.60 (3 to 5 days), $7.00 (5 to 7), $9.00 (7 to 10), $14.00 (10 to 15) and $23.40 (15 to 30), about $1.56 per extra day at the top of the ladder.
- Some countries cost more. Israel, South Korea, Mexico and the UAE start at $12.50 for 3 days. Peru and Canada cost $19.90 for 3 days and $89.50 to $95.90 for 30. A 30-day plan is $95.90 in Egypt, $96.90 in the Dominican Republic, $111.90 in India and $113.90 in Tunisia.
- Unlimited versus fixed data. At providers priced at the market median, Holafly's 7-day price of $27.50 buys roughly 10 to 20 GB. Its 30-day price of $73.90 is about 1.5 times a 50 GB plan ($45 to $54). Our travel data calculator shows which side of that line you fall on.
- No top-ups. Holafly's FAQ says top-ups and data reloads are no longer available; to extend, you buy and install a new eSIM [6].
Holafly vs other unlimited eSIMs: median prices by trip length
Holafly has no fixed-data plans, so there is no per-GB chart for it. Instead, the table compares the median price of single-country unlimited plans at each provider, in US dollars as of 2 Oct 2026. The last column gives the speed rule each one states. The differences sit in the fair-use rules more than in the price.
| Provider | 3 days | 7 days | 15 days | 30 days | Speed rule stated |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| eSIM4Travel | $8.75 | $18.75 | $37.07 | $63.00 | Throttled; limit not stated |
| Ubigi | no plan | $25.00 | $40.00 | $55.00 | No throttling flagged |
| Nomad | $11.00 | $25.00 | $44.00 (1 plan) | $41.00 (2 plans) | 2 GB/day, then mostly 1 Mbps |
| Yesim | $12.08 | $28.17 | $44.85 | $65.55 | Throttled; limit not stated |
| Airalo | $12.50 | $27.50 | $49.00 | $72.00 | 3 GB/day, then 1 Mbps |
| Jetpac | $12.99 | $26.99 | $41.99 | $65.99 | No throttling flagged |
| Holafly | $11.90 | $27.50 | $50.50 | $73.90 | No threshold or speed published; 1 GB monthly backup included |
| ByteSIM | $11.90 | $26.90 | $49.90 | $74.90 | Throttled; limit not stated |
| Saily | no plan | no plan | $49.99 | no plan | 5 GB/day, then 1 Mbps |
| Maya Mobile (global plan) | $9.99 | $19.99 | $27.99 (14 days) | $49.99 | 5 GB/day, then 3 Mbps |
Two things stand out. eSIM4Travel and Ubigi undercut Holafly at every length they sell. Maya Mobile's global plan costs less for 30 days than Holafly charges for one country. For more options see our cheapest eSIM comparison and the head-to-head Airalo vs Holafly, or check unlimited plans for Japan in our comparison tool.
Holafly Plans subscription and Always On backup
- Holafly Plans is one permanent eSIM billed monthly, quarterly or yearly. The Unlimited tier is €59.95 a month, labeled a special launch price. The Light tier with 25 GB is €45.95 a month. Quarterly and yearly billing is advertised as saving about 10% and 20%, with no totals shown [10].
- A number, of sorts. Plans Unlimited includes a virtual +1 or +44 phone number for receiving SMS in the app or by email [10]. Trip eSIMs have no number at all, so calls and texts stay on your home SIM or go over WhatsApp.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews every 30 days or every year from the purchase date, with a reminder email before each renewal. If you cancel, service runs to the end of the cycle with no refund or credit for unused time [2].
- Always On. Every trip eSIM bought from 25 Feb 2026 includes 1 GB of free backup data per 30 days. It stays available after your plan ends, as long as the eSIM stays installed and data roaming stays on. It is not refundable, and it ends if you delete the eSIM. It is not available everywhere; the terms list exceptions including Cambodia, the Dominican Republic and Kosovo [1].
How Holafly's prices compare with the market
The box below sums up Holafly's position in our price database. Because it sells only unlimited plans, it has no per-GB rank. The pills show how its plans compare with other global unlimited plans by trip length, and which plan types it does not sell at all.
Holafly prices
Holafly suits a traveler who wants one simple unlimited plan and will use a lot of data on a long trip. It is almost never the cheapest unlimited option, and in Tunisia, Thailand, Türkiye and Egypt it sits well above its rivals.

Holafly customer feedback
Customer feedback
Among the best-rated providers we track: 4.7 on Trustpilot from over 113,000 reviews, with slow data the main complaint.
Verdict: among the best-rated providers we track. Easy setup and fast support get the praise; slow data and eSIMs that never connect get the complaints.
Holafly reviews: what the ratings say
Holafly holds 4.7 on Trustpilot from 113,513 reviews, 4.8 on the App Store from 14k ratings and 4.7 on Google Play from 77.8k ratings, as of October 2026. Those three figures feed the customer feedback score of 9.4, the highest of Holafly's eight categories. Among the 14 providers we rate, only ByteSIM scores higher on this measure, and Jetpac and Saily tie with it.
The pattern in the reviews matches our own test. Installation gets credit for being easy, the support desk for answering fast, and the connection for lasting the whole trip. The criticism is about speed, with slow or unstable data even on full signal bars, and about eSIMs that never connect or stop midway. For the same analysis across providers, see our customer review comparison of 11 eSIM providers.

Recently used Holafly for my Italy trip. Purchased and installed at airport gate just before flight. Activated upon arrival and it worked perfectly throughout trip to Venice, Florence, Rome. Good price compared to international plan through my regular provider.
Purchased 2 eSIMs recently and neither worked. One in Dubai and the other in the Philippines. You spend a lot of time with the AI support agent, but never find a solution.
This is my second Holafly eSIM. My first one in France and Spain worked without hiccup. This second one activated in Bangkok has had a hiccup and stopped working. Contacted Holafly support via the app and MariaVittoria got onto it rapidly, diagnosed the problem with screenshots of my iPhone settings and walked me through simple steps to remedy it. No messing about and it’s now working perfectly. The support took about 10 minutes. 5 star service. Will come back again.
My holafly e sim which I used for 16 days whilst in japan and south Korea not once let me down. As soon as I switched to the sim it came straight on and I roamed to my hearts content. Thank you and I will definitely be purchasing again when I need travel abroad.

Holafly coverage
Coverage
First of 14 providers in our traveler reports: 92% of country-level reports say it worked, well above the market.
Verdict: the most reliable provider in our traveler reports. 92% of 2,406 country-level reports say it worked, and it leads 10 of 13 rivals in the same countries.
Holafly's own destination counts vary from page to page. The Global eSIM page says 142 countries included, while the FAQ on the same page says 121 [9]. Our count of its product sitemap found 189 countries and territories with their own eSIM page, plus pages for cities, US states, islands and cruises. In the USA the eSIM runs on AT&T and T-Mobile [8], and trip eSIMs are data only, with no local number.
Where does Holafly work? Traveler reports by country
Our coverage measure is separate from the Vefru test score. Travelers tell us whether an eSIM worked in a country, yes or no, and we compare each provider with the others in the same places. Holafly leads on both views.
Its raw rate is 2,220 of 2,406 reports (92.3%) against a market average of 85.3%. Adjusted for where its customers travel, it had 49% fewer failures than the other providers would have had in the same countries, first of 14.
- Strongest: Western Europe at 378 of 393 reports (96%), with the United Kingdom at 142 of 148 (96%) and Switzerland at 52 of 53 (98%). Türkiye (84 of 88, 95%) and Vietnam (36 of 37, 97%) are close behind. Our UK eSIM guide and Switzerland eSIM guide show how it compares locally.
- Weakest: New Zealand at 14 of 18 (78%) against a market rate of 89%, and Romania at 5 of 7 (71%). In both, think about a backup.
- Head to head: Holafly beats 10 of 13 rivals in the same countries by margins too large to be chance, and loses to none. Only Roamless edges it on shared countries, by a gap that could be chance.
- Cities are harder: 351 of 417 city-level reports (84%) say it worked, still above the 76% city average of the other providers.
The box below shows the full picture: works and fails by country, region and city, with the sample size behind every percentage. Read the number of reports before the percentage; anything under five reports is anecdotal.
Holafly terms and conditions
Verdict: Irish consumer law, a six-month refund window and a 30-day notice rule work in your favor. An unquantified fair-use clause, a €100 liability cap and a travel-only rule work against you.
Your contract is with Holafly Limited in Dublin, under Irish law. Irish courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction, and the terms keep your right to sue in your own country where consumer law allows [1]. On 7 Oct 2026 we read the Trip Service terms, the Holafly Plans terms, the privacy policy and the refund policy. The box sums up what affects your money and your data.
What's in the Holafly terms and conditions
Terms that keep your statutory rights intact but lean toward Holafly on speed and refunds. Four clauses can cost you money or rights, and four work in your favor.
Opens in a new tab- Red flag: Unlimited data can be slowed, with no limit written downYour plan has no fixed cap, but the carrier may restrict speed or data for "excessive" use; the terms give no GB threshold and no reduced speed.
- Red flag: Activate during the cooling-off period and you pay for itYou can withdraw within 14 days, but if the plan has started you owe a proportionate amount, and a fully used plan may lose the right entirely.
- Red flag: Unwanted eSIM? Refund only if unused and bought from HolaflyA full refund requires purchase through Holafly's own site or app (not a partner), no activation, and a request within 6 months.
- Red flag: Compensation is capped at what you paid, or €100Liability is limited to what you paid for the plan in the previous 12 months or €100, whichever is greater, except for fraud, injury from negligence or wilful misconduct.
- Watch out: Travel only: no home use, and 90 days per destinationThe eSIM is for international travel, not your home country (the whole EU for EU residents), and each continuous stay in one destination is capped at 90 days.
- Watch out: Device identifiers, usage logs and support calls are recordedHolafly collects IMSI, EID, IMEI, data usage and connection logs, uses heatmaps and advertising IDs, and records customer-service calls including your voice.
- Watch out: Your card can be saved for next timeThe terms allow your payment method to be stored for future purchases with your explicit consent, and you can update it in the account settings.
- Watch out: Irish law, but you can sue at homeDisputes fall under Irish law with non-exclusive Irish jurisdiction, and consumers keep the right to bring a claim in their own country where consumer law allows.
- Fair: Six months to ask for a refundAn unused eSIM bought from Holafly can be refunded for up to 6 months, with the money back in your account in 3 to 5 business days.
- Fair: Faulty service? The law's remedies still applyIf the eSIM does not work as described, you get the Consumer Rights Act 2022 remedies (a fix, a price cut or a refund) whether or not it was activated.
- Fair: 30 days' notice before changes that hurt youMaterial updates to your disadvantage, including prices and limits, need at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app, and you can cancel before they apply.
- Fair: Account closures need a reason and a warningHolafly can remove or restrict an account only for valid, proportionate reasons like fraud, with prior notice and a way to contest it, except in urgent cases.

Holafly refund policy explained
- Trip canceled or eSIM not needed: a full refund if you bought from Holafly's own site or app, never activated the eSIM and ask within 6 months [1] [4].
- Incompatible or locked phone: a full refund under the same conditions, with a screenshot as proof and the QR code unscanned [4].
- Connection problems: a full or partial refund when the fault is Holafly's or the destination network's. Report it during the trip; after the trip a refund is not guaranteed, and partial refunds are based on data used minus a USD 3.50 administrative fee [4].
- Cooling-off: a 14-day right of withdrawal applies by law, with a proportionate charge if you activated the plan in that time [1].
- Payout: to the original account in 3 to 5 business days, after you contact [email protected] with the details [4].
- Not refundable: Always On backup data [1], and a canceled subscription, which runs to the end of the cycle with no refund or credit for unused time [2].
- Bought through a partner? Then your contract is with that partner, not with Holafly [1].
Who runs Holafly and what it collects

Holafly review summary
Verdict: 6.9 out of 10. Holafly is the easy, reliable choice for unlimited data, and you pay for that in speed and price.
Holafly's strengths are the ones that matter when something goes wrong. The install takes one tap, travelers say it worked in 92% of 2,406 country-level reports, and a human is on chat after a few bot questions. Its weaknesses are the ones you notice when nothing goes wrong. Speed looked capped at 30 to 40 Mbps in our test, the price is about 9% above other unlimited eSIMs, and the checkout saved our card without asking.
For a traveler who wants to stop thinking about data, that trade can be worth it. For most trips, a fixed plan from a cheaper provider does the same job for less. eSIM4Travel (Vefru test score 8.8) and Saily (8.6) top our ranking of tested eSIM providers; our eSIM4Travel review and Saily review show where each is strongest. This Holafly review ends, as every review on vefru.com does, with who should buy and who should not.
Buy Holafly if
- You want unlimited data and would rather not watch a counter or plan a top-up.
- Reliability beats speed for you: 30 Mbps is enough for maps, streaming and video calls, and the traveler reports are the best we track.
- You are going somewhere Holafly is strongest, like the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Türkiye or Vietnam.
- Your trip is long. The 30-day plan works out at $2.46 a day, against $3.97 a day for 3 days.
- You want a free safety net: 1 GB of Always On data every 30 days after the plan ends, as long as the eSIM stays installed.
Look elsewhere if
- You need full 5G speed for large uploads or a laptop on hotspot all day; the hotspot cap is 1 GB a day.
- Price matters most. eSIM4Travel and Ubigi sell cheaper unlimited plans at every length. For fixed data, eSIM4Travel's median 10 GB plan is $11.89 and Global YO's is $15.39, against $27.50 for a week of Holafly.
- You may need to extend. There are no top-ups, so a longer stay means a second eSIM.
- You need a number, calls or SMS on the trip eSIM; it is data only.
- You want help in Czech or Polish. The support chat had neither language in our test.
