Global YO leads here on 23 of 25 Spain reports and an 8.0 test score. Its app does the fiddly part for you: it installs the eSIM and activates it, so you only switch mobile data to the new line. One early Spain reviewer bought it just before the flight and had data immediately.

Holafly installs straight from its app with no QR code to scan, and its Spain page names Orange, Movistar, Vodafone and Yoigo (checked August 2026). A 71-year-old traveler used it for 27 days across Spain, France and Portugal and found it worked everywhere, day and night.

GigSky sells Spain plans of up to 180 days, and its app still works when your data runs out, both handy for a winter stay. Across Spain 26 of 33 travelers had it working, and it scored 7.2 with a 9 for support.

Southern Spain is its weak area in our data: a Brazilian had trouble in Málaga, and another reviewer called southern Spain very intermittent. The rest is in our hands-on GigSky test.

The only review in our data that names Torremolinos is an Airalo complaint from August 2026: a poor network that cut out all the time. Across Spain, Airalo worked for 21 of 51 travelers, the weakest share we track.

An older British user also struggled to connect in Spain and fell back on the Wi-Fi where he stayed for directions. Airalo scored 7.3 in our test, with 4 for price. Read our hands-on Airalo test and better-rated alternatives.

Simify, Jetpac and Other eSIMs for Torremolinos

Jetpac (6.7, 14 of 16 in Spain) reaches a human on WhatsApp; one user who arrived in Spain unable to activate data was fixed quickly. eSIM4Travel scored 8.8 but has one Spain report, too few to judge. ByteSIM (5.3) has zero Spain reports so far.

Spain's networks belong to Movistar, Vodafone España, Digi and MasOrange, the group behind both Orange and Yoigo. Opensignal's May 2026 report gave Movistar the best download speed, 96.7 Mbps, and Ookla named it Spain's best network for the first half of 2025.
