Based on the reports, Maya Mobile is the best option for most trips to Croatia, above all for trips that cross borders or stop in several ports. It worked well for 28 of 29 travelers who reported from Croatia (97%), the strongest record in our set and the only one at that level with strong evidence. The successes are long trips: a month across Italy, Croatia, Bosnia, Greece and Turkey on three eSIMs, an 80-day trip with Croatia among seven countries, a cruise calling at Split and Dubrovnik, and a first-time user who tethered her husband's phone in rural Croatia and Slovenia. One reviewer wrote in Nov 2025: "It stopped at Croatia split and Dubrovnik ... and the data worked amazing."

The misses are specific. The one country-level miss was a Europe plan bought for Croatia and Albania that had no signal (Aug 2025); a reviewer in Pula found it did not work in that area (Oct 2025), and one in Zagreb got only 3G and dropouts until Maya reset the eSIM and later refunded him (Mar 2024). Another called coverage "a bit spotty in Croatia but generally it worked" (Aug 2024). The clearest pattern sits at the border: three reviewers say the eSIM stopped the moment they left Croatia for Bosnia or Montenegro, which matters on the Neum corridor and for day trips to Mostar or Kotor. Several of the 2024 and 2025 reports used a Maya Europe plan that is no longer sold.

What sets Maya apart is the product: as of October 2026 it sells one global unlimited plan in 3, 7, 14 and 30 day lengths, covering 178 countries, with 5 GB a day at full speed and a slower connection after that, hotspot included and top-ups allowed. There is no small plan and nothing under 3 days, so it is poor value for a two-day city break. In our test the install took one click, the APN had to be set to "globaldata" with roaming on, and 5G came up at once; speeds showed no sign of throttling until the daily allowance ran out, and the help desk reached a person in about nine minutes via WhatsApp. On price it is the cheapest global unlimited plan in our comparison by a wide margin and sits below every provider's single-country unlimited plan. Nomad is the pick for travelers who want a plain Croatia plan with a fixed data amount and a tidy app, as long as they will not need to talk to a person. It worked well for 20 of 21 travelers who reported from Croatia (95%), strong evidence. The successes cover islands, Zagreb, a family of four on a Europe plan through Croatia and Slovenia, three-week Italy and Croatia trips, and a Balkans regional plan that was fine in Croatian cities. One reviewer summed it up in Aug 2026: "it was perfect, but in some area in croatia there want signal, and after it took a while to reconect".

The misses were speed, not dead zones, and they cluster in July 2026: one reviewer reported a really slow connection, another unstable connections, and a business traveler at Camp Poljana got 4G at best with speeds he called terrible (all Jul 2026). The one country-level miss is in that group. Two more warnings from the texts: a reviewer who bought a second Nomad eSIM for Bosnia could not connect there, and a 2022 Motorola would not take the eSIM that worked fine on an iPhone 14 Pro, so check your phone before you buy.

Nomad's Croatia plans run from 1 GB for 3 or 7 days to 3, 5, 10, 20 and 50 GB for 30 days, plus unlimited plans of 3, 5, 7 and 10 days with 2 GB a day at full speed and a slower connection after that; the Croatia plans must be activated within 30 days. For the Neum corridor or Montenegro there is a Balkans plan covering 12 countries and a Europe plan. Nomad's own page names A1 and Telemach as its networks [11]; our comparison tool lists Telemach. In our test the QR install worked right away, the app has a home-screen widget for remaining data, and prices sit slightly below the market average overall, though dearer in Europe than elsewhere. Holafly is the safe choice for travelers who want unlimited data on a multi-country trip and never want to think about it, with one firm caveat: in our test its speed was capped from the first megabyte, before any data was used. That is enough for maps, messaging, browsing and streaming, but slow for large downloads, uploads, cloud backups and laptop work. It worked well for all 6 travelers who reported from Croatia (100%), limited evidence. Every one of the six was a multi-country trip: two months across Spain, France, Croatia and Montenegro with hotspot and GPS working throughout; Italy, Greece, Malta, Montenegro and Croatia; a family that has used it across nine European countries. "Very good connection in Croatia", one wrote in Jun 2026.

No reviewer described a failure in Croatia, so there is no miss to explain. Two product limits matter more than the record: the hotspot is capped at 1 GB a day, and there are no top-ups, so a plan that runs out means buying a new eSIM. One reviewer's habit is worth copying: install two or three days before the trip, switch the eSIM on briefly to confirm it works, then switch it off until landing.

Holafly sells unlimited plans only, priced by the day, and pays for that convenience: it is dearer than the other unlimited plans in our comparison and often the most expensive unlimited offer of all. Which Croatian network it uses is not settled: third-party reports name Telemach and A1 in one place and A1 and HT in another, and Holafly's own Croatia page was not part of our research, so we could not confirm either. When we exported the plan list for this article, our comparison tool had no Holafly plan for Croatia, so the plan table below is missing and you need to check Holafly's own site. Roamless suits light users who move between Croatia, Greece and Italy on one eSIM and do not want to buy a new plan at each border. It worked well for 5 of 5 travelers who reported from Croatia (100%), limited evidence. The successes are port days and layovers: a Europe eSIM used for a month before switching to an Italy plan, instant connection on landing, and a cruise through Greece, Croatia and Italy. One wrote in Oct 2025: "Had no issues during port days and traveling through Greece, Croatia, and Italy."

The count hides a detail in two of the five texts: one reviewer in Oct 2025 got only an LTE connection and switched to home roaming for some harder stretches, and another said that if you can find something more reliable in Croatia you should take it, while calling Roamless the most reliable of his three eSIMs. So the record says it connects, not that it was fast everywhere.

Roamless is one global eSIM: pay-as-you-go credit that does not expire, plus 30-day Croatia plans from 700 MB to 200 GB and Europe and Global 30-day plans, with no unlimited option. Our comparison tool lists it on A1 in Croatia; third-party reports name Telemach, A1 and HT. In our test the preselected APN did not work and we had to pick "Proximus Internet" and switch Wi-Fi off, speed tests only ran after a manual network switch, and a trickle of data remained at zero balance, enough to top up without Wi-Fi. The app includes calls and an optional second number. On price it is at the market average in popular destinations, second cheapest for 1 GB and dear from 10 GB up, so it fits light use. eSIM4Travel is the pick for price: its Croatia plans were the cheapest in our comparison tool at 3, 5 and 10 GB by a clear margin when we exported the list, and it is the cheapest provider in our comparison overall. No traveler has reported from Croatia with it yet, so the card above shows 0 of 0, and we cannot say how it performs on the coast or the islands. What we can say comes from our own hands-on test, run in Switzerland: we bought on the website, got the QR code by email, installed it with roaming on and it worked right away; the help desk went from a short bot to a person in one click, who solved our problem and added a tip on switching networks.

Its network position is the strongest on this page on paper: its own Croatia page names HT, A1 and Telemach, all three operators [12], and its plan names in our tool list A1, Tele2 and T-mobile, the old brand names of two of them. That page showed a "product upgrading" banner when checked on 28 Aug 2026, so look at it again before you buy. Its Croatia plans run from 500 MB for a day to 50 GB for 30 days, plus unlimited plans from 3 to 30 days with 3 GB a day at full speed in our test and tethering allowed; the Best Europe 41 and Global 72 plans cover Croatia too. Plans must be activated within 90 days and start on first connection.

The downsides are the same everywhere: no app, so you buy and manage everything on the website; no Google Pay in our test; one device per eSIM; and no way to top up without Wi-Fi once the data runs out. Yesim is a fair choice for experienced users who want unlimited data sold by the day, but not for anyone who may need help. It worked well for 4 of 4 travelers who reported from Croatia (100%), limited evidence; we have the counts but none of those review texts, so we cannot say which places or trip types they cover. Third-party reports put it on HT, Telemach and A1, under the old brand names T-Mobile and VIPnet, which suggests an old disclosure.

Yesim's Croatia plans are unlimited by the day for 1 to 30 days and fixed plans from 500 MB to 30 GB, plus Balkans and Europe bundles, a Day Pass and a global package. Jetpac works in Croatia once it is running, but two of its four reviewers needed the help desk to get it running at the airport. It worked well for 4 of 4 travelers who reported from Croatia (100%), limited evidence. One landed at Zagreb, could not connect, and a Jetpac agent texted a fix within minutes (Sep 2025). Another had none of his pre-bought eSIMs work on arrival in Croatia, reached support over airport Wi-Fi and got new configuration emails; Jetpac later said his plan had started early (trip Sep 2025). Two road trips across Czechia, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia in 2024 reported a dependable connection throughout.

Jetpac's Croatia plans run from 1 to 40 GB and unlimited from 3 to 30 days, flagged as 5G in our tool with 3 GB a day at full speed; its Europe unlimited 7 and 10 day plans are 4G only. After the data runs out, WhatsApp, Maps, Uber and Grab keep working on packs of 3 GB and up, which is a real safety net, and the app sells voice packs. Third-party reports name Telemach and A1. GigSky is the one to look at if your Croatia trip is a ferry crossing or an island hop, and the one to skip if price matters. It worked well for 4 of 4 travelers who reported from Croatia (100%), limited evidence, and the texts are unusually specific: data on an overnight ferry from Italy to Croatia (Jun 2026), a long-time user who names the Croatian islands among the places it worked (Jun 2026), 10 GB over 15 days through Croatia, Italy, Greece and Spain, and a 5 GB plan that activated in 30 seconds while the plane taxied to the gate (Aug 2025). "I was able to get internet while on an overnight ferry from Italy to Croatia!", one wrote in Jun 2026.

GigSky's Croatia plans follow its usual ladder: 1 GB for 7 days, 3 GB for 15, 5 and 10 GB for 30, 20 GB for 90, 50 GB for 180 days and a 1-day unlimited pass, plus Europe, Cruise and Europe Ferries plans that cover Croatia. Airalo is the easy, well-known choice, and in Croatia its record is good but the texts carry more grumbles than the count shows. It worked well for 8 of 9 travelers who reported from Croatia (89%), limited evidence. The miss was an eSIM that installed but would not connect to any network (Jun 2026); Airalo credited the account. Among those counted as worked, one had trouble sending texts and downloading from Google and found the install harder than on earlier trips (Aug 2026), one found "less coverage in Croatia" than in Germany or Slovenia (Jul 2026), and one described poor signal in Split's centre (Jun 2026). The successes are multi-country Europe trips where it was switched on before leaving the plane.

Airalo's Cronet plans for Croatia run from 1 to 50 GB with unlimited plans that give 3 GB a day at full speed and slow after that; the EUconnect, Eurolink and Discover plans cover Croatia too, and Discover+ adds calls and texts with a US number. Airalo's page names Telemach as its primary network with A1 as the second [10]; older third-party reports named HT and A1, and the switch is undated. Install within 30 days; validity starts on first connection. In our test purchase and install were among the smoothest, but prices are at the market average and never the cheapest, and across all countries it had the weakest record of the 14 providers in our report data; see our Airalo review. Ubigi is for tech-savvy travelers who want cheap unlimited data and will not need help. It worked well for 4 of 5 travelers who reported from Croatia (80%), limited evidence. The miss was a cruise passenger whose Italy eSIM was meant to cover port stops in Croatia and Greece: it did not connect in either, and her phone reported no data left while the website showed almost all of her 10 GB unused (May 2026). The successes include a five-country trip through Japan, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Bulgaria with coverage in rural areas (Jun 2026) and one reviewer who found it worked everywhere since arriving in Croatia, including the Dalmatian coast.

Ubigi's Croatia plans are 3 GB for 15 days, 10 GB for 7 or 30 days, 25 GB for 30 days and unlimited for 7 or 30 days; its Europe plans start at 500 MB. According to Ubigi's own partner list it uses A1 only in Croatia. In our test the site and app were clunky, a help ticket went unanswered for 24 hours, the worst outcome we saw, but the data ran without throttling and we could buy more with a zero balance; see our Ubigi review. GoMoWorld is a good-value option for heavy data users, but two reports from Croatia are too few to judge it. It worked well for 2 of 2 travelers who reported from Croatia (100%). One used it in Croatia and Hungary with no trouble (Nov 2025); the other bought a Croatia eSIM that did not work for six hours, got a refund, and later had the fault fixed and a free plan (Sep 2025). That second story matches our test finding: the plan does nothing until you press Start in the app, a common cause of "not working".

GoMoWorld sells Croatia plans of 4 GB for 7 days and 20, 50 and 75 GB for 30 days, plus Europe plans from 2.5 to 35 GB, with no unlimited plan; it names only "major Croatian networks" on its page, as of August 2026. The eSIM is app only and never emailed, one account covers one device, and a human help desk works office hours only. Global YO is the second-cheapest provider in our comparison, but one report from Croatia is too few to judge it here. It worked well for the 1 traveler who reported from Croatia, a backpacker who covered Germany, Hungary and Croatia on one eSIM (Feb 2025). Its site lists Croatia but did not name a network on its page when we checked in August 2026.

Its Croatia plans run from 1 GB for 3 days to 100 GB for 60 days, plus Day Plans with a daily allowance and Europe and Global Explorer plans; there is no unlimited plan. In our test the purchase was app only, the install needed the APN "globaldata", the app dies at zero data, and the help desk took ten minutes for a template reply; see our Global YO review. Saily has the best app and help desk in our test, but one report from Croatia is too few to judge it here, and that report needed a workaround. It worked well for the 1 traveler who reported from Croatia, a Danube cruise passenger whose Europe plan showed a good 5G signal in Croatia but passed no data until he switched the phone off and on (May 2026); the same happened to him in several countries, and the in-app help needs a data connection to open. Third-party reports say Saily uses HT or A1 here; Saily does not disclose it.

Saily's Croatia plans are 1 GB for 7 days, 3, 5, 10 and 20 GB for 30 days, and unlimited for 15 days with 5 GB a day at full speed, plus Europe and Global plans. The eSIM is app only, our install was the smoothest tested, and the help desk reached a person fast; the drawback is price, among the two most expensive in most of the popular destinations we compared, as our Saily review explains. ByteSIM has the widest Croatia catalogue on this page but no traveler reports from Croatia yet, and our test found the weakest checkout and app of the 14. Its page describes a "dual network" for Croatia without naming it, as of August 2026 [14].

Its Croatia plans come as daily allowances of 1, 2 or 10 GB a day, fixed plans from 500 MB to 300 GB and unlimited plans from 1 to 30 days, all with validities from 1 to 30 days; longer validity costs more and there are no top-ups. In our test the checkout demanded a phone number and postal address, the app threw install errors, and a WhatsApp message went unanswered for 15 minutes; see our ByteSIM review. Prices sit at the market average, cheaper for short trips. It might suit experienced users who want a local payment method like iDEAL or Klarna. Plans are on ByteSIM.

Price per GB in Croatia by eSIM Provider

How much does each provider charge per GB in Croatia? The chart below compares plans of 1 to 10 GB that last 6 to 14 days, the usual range for a one- or two-week trip. Provider websites show only their own plans, so this side-by-side view is one you would otherwise have to work out yourself. A shorter bar means a lower price per GB.

The tables below show the cheapest current plan per provider at each data size. Twelve of the 14 providers sell a plan that covers Croatia, and most of them sell an unlimited option, so the unlimited table is worth a look for a beach week of streaming. Best eSIM for Zagreb, Split and the Dalmatian Coast

Only a handful of the 91 reports name a place inside Croatia, so no provider reaches three reports in any one city and the country pick, Maya Mobile, applies everywhere. The table shows what the place-level reports say; the paragraphs below add what the review texts and the network data tell you about Zagreb, the coast and the islands.

Best eSIM for Zagreb

Maya Mobile stays the pick for Zagreb by default, because no provider has three reports from the city, but its one Zagreb report is a miss: a reviewer in Mar 2024 got only 3G and repeated dropouts in Zagreb and three Spanish cities until Maya reset the eSIM, and was refunded in full. Nomad and Jetpac each have one Zagreb report that worked. The Nomad reviewer passed through Madrid, Venice, Ljubljana and Zagreb without problems (Aug 2026). The Jetpac reviewer landed at Zagreb airport, could not connect, and had it working within minutes after texting the help desk (Sep 2025); a second Jetpac customer arriving in Croatia the same month had to use airport Wi-Fi to reach support before any of his eSIMs worked.

The network data favours the capital: in the regulator's 2026 drive test, HT won Zagreb and Telemach came second there [1], so the Telemach-based plans from Nomad and Airalo and the three-network eSIM4Travel plan all ride a strong city network. For the airport itself, the Tisak kiosk stocks all three operator brands, and Telemach sells a physical SIM there, which is the fallback if a travel eSIM will not connect on landing.

On the coast the reports are thin but consistent: Maya Mobile worked at the cruise stops in Split and Dubrovnik (Nov 2025), one Airalo user had data in Split while another described poor signal in the city centre (Jun 2026), Ubigi worked along the Dalmatian coast, and GigSky kept a connection on an overnight ferry from Italy and on the islands (Jun 2026). The one Pula report, from Maya Mobile, did not work there (Oct 2025), and Nomad's Camp Poljana report had 4G at best with poor speed in Jul 2026. No traveler reports from the Dinaric interior or Plitvice yet; the regulator's drive test flags roads and motorways as the weak spot, and HT took the regulator's top data score and both coverage awards in Opensignal's September 2026 report, so a provider that includes HT, eSIM4Travel officially and Roamless and Yesim by third-party report, has the best chance between towns [1]. The regulator's coverage map shows each operator's reach by address [2].

Local SIM Cards and Operator eSIMs in Croatia

A local tourist SIM beats a travel eSIM on price and includes calls: A1's 10 Days Unlimited eSIM cost €7.90 to €9.90 on 28 Aug 2026 with 100 local minutes and texts [4], and Telemach's NET2GO PLUS cost €9.95 for 10 days of unlimited data plus 200 local minutes, as of September 2026 [6]. No travel eSIM for Croatia comes close for a ten-day stay with heavy use. A travel eSIM wins when you want data working before you land, when your trip crosses into Bosnia, Montenegro or Italy, or when you need under 3 GB and a small plan is cheaper than any tourist tariff.

The A1 offer has a catch to know about: one A1 page states that its "unlimited" data is 100 GB at full speed and then slowed to a crawl, while A1's English tourist page showed no cap when checked, so treat 100 GB as the working limit until A1 says otherwise [5]. A1 also sold a 3 Days Unlimited eSIM for €10.90, a 30 Days Unlimited eSIM for €29.00 and a 120 GB plan valid 90 days for €25.00, with a renewal of €12.90 for another 10 days by text message and a €3.00 daily unlimited add-on, as of September 2026 [4]. A two-eSIM "1+1" pack was listed at €14.90 on the tourist page and €9.90 on A1's blog, so check which price applies before buying. The A1 eSIM arrives by email after a card payment and needs no ID; a physical SIM is only delivered to a Croatian address.

Telemach's second tourist option is SIM2GO: €9.95 for 10 GB, 200 minutes and a little credit over 30 days, as of September 2026 [6]. Its NET2GO eSIM can also be bought online for 1, 7, 10 or 20 days of unlimited data at €5.90, €19.90, €24.90 and €34.90. Hrvatski Telekom sells a "Visiting Croatia" unlimited tourist tariff as an eSIM or physical SIM at HT shops, Tisak and iNovine kiosks and Petrol and INA stations [9], but its page showed no current price when we checked in September 2026, and the figure quoted on travel sites is one we could not confirm.

Croatia's Electronic Communications Act contains no prepaid registration requirement, so no ID is needed for a prepaid SIM or eSIM, though a shop may ask for a passport for a contract [3]. All three tourist tariffs are Croatia-only and exclude EU roaming, which is exactly why they go dark on the Neum corridor. Kiosks, post offices, petrol stations and supermarkets all sell SIMs; we could not confirm whether airport kiosks charge more. For a one-country beach holiday with calls, the local eSIM is the better deal; for anything that crosses a border, the travel eSIMs above are.

Mobile Networks in Croatia

Hrvatski Telekom has the best network in Croatia on the evidence we have, and only one travel eSIM on this page officially uses it. In the regulator HAKOM's 2026 drive test across 32 cities and 2,500 km of roads, HT scored highest overall, on voice and on data, A1 came second overall and Telemach was second on data, a few points above A1; HT won Zagreb, Split, Osijek and Zadar, A1 won Rijeka [1]. Opensignal's September 2026 report, a third-party measurement, gave HT six outright awards including both coverage awards, Telemach the awards for consistent quality and time on 5G, and A1 a shared lead on reliability and availability. Call setup succeeded for about 99% of attempts on all three, and the regulator flags roads and motorways as the area that still needs work [1].

All three run 5G. Telemach claims 98.9% population coverage with 5G on its own site [7]; A1's figure is disputed between third-party sources, and HT publishes no geographic number we could find. HT shut its 3G network on 30 Jan 2025 and kept 2G [8]; A1 planned to shut 3G by 2026, and we found no notice that it has; Telemach has announced nothing. For travelers that means a 4G-capable phone is a must, and that the Telemach-based plans still have a 3G fallback for now.

Which eSIM rides which network: eSIM4Travel names HT, A1 and Telemach on its Croatia page [12]; Airalo names Telemach first and A1 second [10]; Nomad names A1 and Telemach [11]; Ubigi's partner list names A1 only. Our comparison tool lists Airalo and Nomad on Telemach and Roamless on A1. Third-party reports, which we could not confirm, put Roamless and Yesim on HT as well as A1 and Telemach, Holafly, Jetpac and GigSky on A1 or Telemach, and Saily on HT or A1. Maya Mobile's page names no network [13], and GoMoWorld and ByteSIM describe their networks without naming them [14]. For a trip that stays in Zagreb, Split or Dubrovnik any of them will do; for the interior, the islands and the roads between, eSIM4Travel is the only one with HT confirmed, and the regulator's coverage map lets you check an address before you buy [2]. How to Set Up an eSIM for Croatia

Install before you fly: every provider on this page except GoMoWorld and Yesim starts the plan on first connection in Croatia, not at install, so you can set it up on home Wi-Fi and land connected. Our guides for adding an eSIM on iPhone and adding an eSIM on Samsung walk through the phone side.

1. Check your phone. One Nomad reviewer's iPhone 14 Pro worked while a 2022 Motorola would not take the eSIM. Our list of phones that take an eSIM covers the common models.
2. Buy a few days ahead and mind the activation window: Airalo and Nomad Croatia plans must be installed or activated within 30 days, eSIM4Travel within 90 days, and Ubigi's QR code is valid for 6 months. Yesim's plan started at purchase in our test, so buy it last.
3. Install at home. Maya Mobile, eSIM4Travel, Airalo, Nomad, Jetpac, Ubigi, Yesim, ByteSIM and Holafly send a QR code by email; Saily, GoMoWorld, Roamless and GigSky install from their app, and Global YO needs the app to buy. One Holafly user switches the eSIM on briefly at home to test it, then off again until landing.
4. On landing, turn on data roaming for the eSIM and set it as the data line. Some providers need an APN: "globaldata" for Maya Mobile and Global YO, "gigsky" for GigSky, "mobiledata" for Ubigi, and "Proximus Internet" for Roamless if the preselected one fails. GoMoWorld does nothing until you press Start in the app.
5. If the signal is strong but no data flows, restart the phone first (that fixed Saily for one cruise passenger in Croatia), then pick the network by hand in the phone settings (a Maya Mobile reviewer did this at each border). Our eSIM troubleshooting guide has the rest.
6. Keep the home SIM's data roaming off. One Maya Mobile user got a large bill from his home operator despite the eSIM, and on the Neum corridor a home SIM can roam onto a Bosnian network outside EU rules.

Calls and SMS in Croatia

None of the 14 travel eSIMs gives you a Croatian number; for that you need a local SIM or operator eSIM, and Croatia's calling code is +385. Every Croatia plan in our comparison tool is data only. The exceptions are regional and global: Airalo's Discover+ plans, which cover Croatia, include calls and texts on a US number, and Saily sells a US number as an add-on. Roamless, Jetpac and Global YO offer calls through their apps, Jetpac as paid voice packs, Roamless with an optional second number, Global YO for outgoing calls only. Holafly's subscription adds a number that can receive texts but not make calls.

For most trips WhatsApp, FaceTime or Signal over data cover calls home, and that is what the Holafly and Nomad reviewers describe doing. If you need a local number, to book a boat or call a host, A1's tourist eSIM includes 100 Croatian minutes and texts and Telemach's tourist plans include 200 local minutes, as of September 2026 [4] [6]. One Airalo reviewer in Croatia could not send text messages over the eSIM (Aug 2026); that is expected on a data-only plan, not a fault.

Free eSIM Data for Croatia

Roamless is the one provider with a free trial listed for Croatia in our comparison tool: a "FREE Croatia eSIM" with 700 MB, a 30-day trial that starts on activation and runs without throttling, so you can test coverage on the coast before paying. Based on 91 traveler reports and our own tests, Maya Mobile is the best option for most trips to Croatia: it worked well for 28 of 29 travelers, its single global unlimited plan is the cheapest of its kind in our comparison and it keeps working across the Bosnian and Montenegrin borders that Croatia-only plans do not cover, but it sells nothing small or shorter than three days. Nomad (20 of 21) is the choice for a fixed Croatia plan and a good app, with slow data in a few July 2026 reports and no human help desk. Holafly connected for all 6 who reported and suits hands-off unlimited use on a multi-country trip, with the speed cap we found in our test and no Croatia plan in our comparison tool when we checked.

Roamless (5 of 5) fits light users who want one eSIM for Croatia, Greece and Italy, though two reviewers found it slow in places. eSIM4Travel is the cheapest here and the only provider officially on all three Croatian networks, with the best help desk in our test, but no traveler has reported from Croatia with it yet and it has no app. For a ten-day beach holiday in one place, a local A1 or Telemach tourist eSIM is cheaper than all of them.
